Fundraising is an extremely important component of maintaining the financial health of the Troop. Thanks to fundraisers, parents enjoy a sizable deduction in the overall cost of summer camp, making it easier to send their sons.
Our fundraising goal for 2019-20 is $12,000.
We will hold four fundraisers. The profits will be pooled together, divided equally among the Scouts, and used to offset both High Adventure and Summer Camping costs. Profits are deducted from camp balances in April.
All Scouts and Scout families are expected to participate in Troop fundraising. Scout are expected to participate by selling mulch, concessions and wreaths, and by giving their time when these goods are sold at booths and during organized group door-to-door sales.
