When a Scout crosses over into the Boy Scouts, or joins up, the initial cost is $50.
Weekly due are $1. These can be paid in advance, or weekly. Dues are collected at the beginning of each meeting by the Patrol Scribe, and turned into the Troop Scribe where they are recorded by the treasurer. This money covers the cost of merit badges and other advancement materials.
If dues are not paid for two months, you will be put on probation until your balance is paid. Your dues must be in good standing in order to be able to run for an elected position, or to have a Board of Review and advance in rank.

Each Scout has their own account managed by the Committee Treasurer. The money in your account can be used to pay for camp outs, dues, summer camp, Scout events and uniforms.
